Georgia–Germany relations are foreign relations between Georgia and Germany. Germany pushed for the independence of the First Georgian Republic following the First World War and was one of the first countries to recognize the newly formed state in 1918, while also making it a protectorate in agreement with the Menshevik Georgian government. Diplomatic relations between both countries were established on April 13, 1992. Georgia has an embassy in Berlin and Germany has an embassy in Tbilisi.
